It's been awhile

It had been some time since we updated our Blog.
This summer has been filled with fun activities. We travelled to Oregon and California to visit the Redwoods, we have camped all over Washington and Oregon, we have been playing tee ball and having fun in the sun.
Redwoods were great!!!. Gabe was able to ride his bike right through a Redwood tree.

Baseball Fun

Gabe played ball again this summer. Dad was the coach again. The Rockets played great and really used some great team work. Gabe played with some of his good friends, Ryan and Callie. He enjoyed the catcher position as well as first base. GO ROCKETS

First Day of Kindergarten

September 4th of 2007 was Gabriel's first day of Kindergarten. He was very excited to not be a "napper" any more. He has his new army backpack and his new shoes on. He wanted to be sure he can run fast in Kindergarten. So far he is really enjoying Mrs. Susan. He is reading and loving math and science.
Can't believe he is in Kindergarten wow time really does fly.

Gabe did it!!
Gabe rode the chair lift today twice! The first time he fell at the top but brushed it off. The second time he was smooth as glass. We really need to work on turning. He has to ski between my skis or else he takes off. He did great all in all. Today was a great day to ski. We had new snow, a sunny sky and not bad temperature.
When we got home everyone was playing football. Gabe of course joined in. (he has shared with us that he will be a Seattle Seahawk when he grows up)
We still have snow on the ground and Buddy is loving it. He just played and played.

Merry Christmas
We had a wonderful holiday. Gabe was really excited when he got up and saw that his stocking was full and there were presents under the tree. He was a bit disapointed when he noticed there was no snow. He was a bit worried on how the sleigh worked if there was no snow for it to glide on. I did not know how to really answer that one. We have enjoyed hanging out together and playing all day. I love not working!!
On Jan 7th Gabe starts his skiing lessons with his good friends, Taryn and Payton. He is thrilled. He puts on his gear and stands in the living room laughing.
Buddy is great. I can not believe he turned 11 this past September. We gave him a spa day for his birthday and I swear is was acting like a king when he got home.
David is well. Still job hunting. He is remodeling homes here and there while he looks for a position close to home.
I am still doing the two positions, Assistant Principal and Assistant Director of Special Education. The day is never slow and there is always something new to figure out.
Have a great New Year!!!
